I have to say that I have loved crafts for as long as I can remember. My mother had a sewing machine that I learned how to sew on and my grandmother always knitted and crocheted. I taught myself to crochet at the age of 12. I remember sitting on my girlfriends back steps making sure that every stitch was right and at the same time trying to read the instructions. I have always loved sewing, embroidery, crocheting and anything else that looks interesting. I am willing to try anything once. I sometimes get carried away on somethings so my daughter suggested I start an Etsy site to sell some of what I make. Over the past 10 years I have fallen in love with quilting and can't even remember how many quilts I have made. I have taught my 3 grown daughters some of these crafts and am now starting my 7 year old granddaughter on embroidery. With the encouragement of my daughter Shannon, I have embarked on this journey with Etsy, blogging, Facebook and Ebay. I hope to create more things as time goes on and never stop learning.
